Welcome. You may be asking “What is a Pet Death Doula?”…
Our pets are our family members. They share our homes and our lives. Our pets don’t care what we wear or if we’ve had a bad day. When the time comes to say goodbye to a pet, we don’t have to pretend it doesn’t hurt. It’s ok to be sad, it’s ok to grieve. And you don’t have to go through it alone. As a Pet Death Doula, Jessica provides non-medical, emotional support and guidance. From the moment you get a distressing diagnosis, the moment you say goodbye to your pet and into mourning. Our services are tailored to each client to ensure the best possible assistance is provided. In addition to guiding you through pet hospice care and aftercare, we can help you plan memorials or any sort of project you’d like to help remember your precious pet.
Doula Jessica received her training and Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula Certificate from the University of Vermont. She is a member in good standing of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance and the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care.
